Tethering Update for HTC Mozart in India

This week we saw a tethering update being distributed to the LG E900 (Optimus 7) and it looks like its HTC Mozart’s turn to join the party.

According to the guys from WeloveWP.hk, the internet sharing update for the HTC Mozart started rolling out in India and sources claim that now the Windows Phone device can finally act as hotspot, by sharing its internet connection with everyone around.

The interesting part about this is that the tethering update was only available for India. While other reports came in that the HTC Mozart has received an update, it looks like only the guys in India have the internet sharing feature activated.

Whether this is was intentional or not, we can only conclude that the update is only available for certain carriers, which actually have the internet sharing feature enabled.

So, if you’re the proud owner of a HTC Mozart and your carrier has already announced that it supports tethering, then you might be in luck because you can finally make  use of the internet sharing option (from the Settings menu of your Windows Phone 7.5).

Also, if tethering updates start rolling out, then we might see other devices being updated to support internet sharing in the next few weeks.

We already compiled a list of Windows Phone devices that support tethering and that are waiting for the update to be release, so it would be a great idea if you check that one out as well.

Stay tuned for more news, because as soon as we get wind of a new internet sharing update hitting Zune, you’ll be the first to know.
