Playboy Model Promotes Windows Phone

It looks like Windows Phone is getting more popular by the second since the new ad featuring Playboy model Britt Dekker (Netherlands reality TV star) has shown up.

Although there isn’t much to look at and the only thing that’s Britt Dekker branded is the voicemail at the end of the ad, it’s pretty interesting to see that Microsoft flexes its marketing muscles tackling any challenge.

The video consists of interacting with a Samsung Omnia 7 (running Mango, of course) and also exploring the many and unique features that Windows Phone 7.5 has been endowed with.

We could be looking at the future of Windows Phone commercials being centered on celebrities and world-class VIP’s that fiddle around with a Windows Phone devices.

If so, just imagine how many fans won’t do anything to have a little bit of their idol with them and as such, Windows Phone sales could really hit it off all of a sudden.

Anyway, we’re sure that the advertising funds that Microsoft gave to Nokia and Samsung have other targets and that VIP commercials won’t be quite as often as we’d imagine.

However, we’d love to see a couple of bikini-wearing Playboy models tweeting and texting with their friends, and we’re sure that most of you would too (don’t kid yourself).

Still, we’ll just have to stay and wait what new ads will the guys from Microsoft think of next and we’ll keep you posted once something interesting surfaces.
