Build 7.10.8745 Shows Up In WP Bench

It’s been a while since we’ve actually seen a new Windows Phone build popping up and to our surprise; we now have a 7.10.8745 Build that’s being reported by none other than the WP Bench application.

This new 8745 build has been detected as running on a HTC 7 Pro, which could either indicate that this is a device-specific update or that Microsoft is indeed testing a new build in the wild.

Along with it, there also seems to be a slightly lower build (7.10.8714 Build) that’s as peculiar as the first one.

For one, we could be looking at the rumored Tango updates (Tango 1 and Tango 2) that are due to be released sometime this year, but we have no confirmation on that as of yet.

Also, considering that the SMS vulnerability, that we reported a while back, wasn’t fixed with the release of the 8107 Build, we could speculate that this new 8745 build could have something to do with that as well.

Either way, we now have the 8745 Build and the 8714 Build showing up for Windows Phone and we don’t really know what to make of them.

The fact that the HTC 7 Pro has been endowed with such a new Windows Phone build could be an indication of its true purpose? (read: a HTC phantom  build?)

That’s all we know for know about the 7.10.8745 Build and the 7.10.8714 Build for Windows Phone and as soon as we get wind of other news on the matter, we’ll let you guys know about it.
