Windows Phone With A Vertical QWERTY Keyboard?

According to a recent rumor, Nokia is planning to release a new Windows Phone featuring a vertical QWERTY keyboard, similar to the E6.

We’re as perplexed as you are in finding out about this, especially since the Windows Phone OS doesn’t support these types of resolutions.

Of course, if Windows Phone 8 were to be running on the vertical QWERTY Windows Phone device, then we might assume that Apollo could also be bringing support for some new screen resolutions (four to be precise).

New Concept For Windows Phone Public Transportation App

Yanko Andreev came up with a pretty sweet Public Transportation app for Windows Phone that we believe to be a success if it can be implemented the right way.

Nokia has already made public that they have something similar (Nokia Transport) but this new concept could access the GPS system on bus stations around you, meaning that you won’t be overwhelmed by irrelevant information.

Displaying only the nearest bus stations around your location, this public transportation concept will only show you relevant data and guide you using a radar-like compass system.

Windows Phone Voice Activated Game – Pah!

The game goes officially by the name Pah! Voice Activated and you can easily find it in the Windows Phone marketplace if you search the “voice activated” tag.

The amazing thing about Pah! is that you get to control a laser shooting spaceship using only your voice and two simple sounds: “Ahhhhhhhhh” for flying up and down and “Pah” for blasting the enemy.

It’s definitely entertaining (to say the least), but you’d better make sure that you’re alone when you’re playing the game because your family won’t really appreciate your shooting or screaming.
